sueing your attacker
if you are sueing someone for a serious offense
against you but that person is disabled and lives
off Gov't Funding..how do you get financially
compensated if you win the case? Does it come

1 Answer from Attorneys
Re: sueing your attacker
The unfortunate answer is you don't get to collect anything. This is the reason that most attorneys are extrememly reluctant to become involved in cases of intentional torts, where there is no insurance available. If your assaulter is broke, it's often better not to bother with suit.
Sometimes, someone may have a duty to prevent the crime or offense, and that person is collectable. You may want to discuss your case with an attorney, just be mindful that you shouldn't get your hopes too high.
