sueing your attacker

if you are sueing someone for a serious offense

against you but that person is disabled and lives

off Gov't Funding..how do you get financially

compensated if you win the case? Does it come

from the Gov't?

The unfortunate answer is you don't get to collect anything. This is the reason that most attorneys are extrememly reluctant to become involved in cases of intentional torts, where there is no insurance available. If your assaulter is broke, it's often better not to bother with suit.

Sometimes, someone may have a duty to prevent the crime or offense, and that person is collectable. You may want to discuss your case with an attorney, just be mindful that you shouldn't get your hopes too high.
