Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
person is charged with wrongful entrustment -
person who borrowed the car had suspended license and was charged with dui and other charges
if the person who borrowed the car presented a notarized letter to the court telling them that she lied about having a valid license can or will the charges of wrongful entrustment be dropped by the court?

An affidavit by the driver would help but you need an attorney to file a motion and advocate for you in court. There could still be the issue of negligent entrustment even though the person lied about the license. The court needs more than just a letter by the wrongdoer.
