Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
i was pulled over and received a summons because i wasnt able to show proof of insurance.my question is will my license get suspended when i go to court if my insurance is dated after the date of ticket

Probably not. (You have not identified the Municipal Court which requires your attendance and I don't know what your record shows.) However, I suspect you will be hit with a fine above and beyond the underlying citation. So it's a good idea to call the Clerk of Courts and see how they require payment, that is, remit all fines before you leave the court, payment plan or credit card.
