Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

20+ year old will , I did not collect my share.

I was 15 when my father passed away(1975).I was never asked to attend a will reading. My father was a professional artist and we were very well off.

During the next few years I became estranged from my mother and was on my own at 17,dropped out of school, working full time..joined the army...etc....

Long story short is I was told a couple years ago by a

relative that my share of his estate was 1/3 of the total.

I would like to know how to look into this and what steps I

should take . Hire an attorney ? Can you recommend one ?

File a form? Thank You.

You have presented a complex fact pattern. There are a number of questions that need to be answered. Was there a will? Was your father's estate ever probated? You need to meet with an attorney to provide him or her with some additional detail. I would be happy to meet with you free of charge. I can reach me at 216.241.2500.
