Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I'm accused of concealing and or embezzeling $ from my grandpa's estate!

My grandpa set up a joint account with my uncle years ago. While my grandpa grew older he promised money for a new business I was starting. Before he died he told my uncle to take the money from their account and open a new joint account with me.We opened this new account 3 weeks before my grandpa passed away. I helped pay bills out of the account and used the rest of the money for my business. After my grandpa died and the will stated that my uncle was the executor and he was entitled to the majority of the estate, he says I embezzeled the money. Can this hold up in court?

As you describe the situation, there are two issues; one civil, and one criminal. Was your uncle to person who withdrew the funds from your grandpa's account? If so, it will be difficult to prove you that you took the money without authorization. You should consult with an attorney before you consider making any repayment.
