How to Amend A Living Will

What I want to know is how to amend a living will that gives my fiance's mother Power of Attorney when she will be going in for surgery. What I specifically want is a legal way enforce that her mother would have no Power over her apartment and the contents thereof. In which I would have control over her apartment during her surgery or any other time with the exception of death.

Re: How to Amend A Living Will

A living will only addresses a person's desires should they be in a permanent vegetative state. It has no bearing on the administration of one's property. A person's property would be administered by way of a durable power of attorney, and I suggest you speak to an attorney in this regard. 216.241.2500
