Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Deceased beneficiaries

A relative recently passed away leaving a will that was written in 1977. All beneficiaries named in the will predeceased him. One of the beneficiaries had three children who were not born at the time the will was written. He had discussed his wishes with several siblings and his lawyer but nothing was ever incorporated into the will. Do the siblings of the deceased have any claims?

Re: Deceased beneficiaries

Sorry, but it all depends upon what the will says regarding predeceased beneficiaries. You'll need to get a copy of the will and take it to a lawyer.
