Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

A person has been been granted Power of Attorney by one who is now deemed to be in the early stages of senile dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The grantee is now leaving the area and will not be able to fulfill the terms of the Power of Attorney. May the grantee assign the Power of Attorney to a third party, in this case an adult child?
