Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

need to understand

My father passed away about a month ago,and I belive he was convinced to not include me in the will,but it doesn't state that I was disinheritated,and his executor over the will is I belive to quilty party,as she doesn't like me at all.Can I by like still get what I heard is my fair share of the estate?If so how do I go about doing that.

Please help me understand.

What you're entitled to depends on the text of the will itself. You should hire an attorney to represent you, and consider filing an action to contest the will. If the will is set aside, you probably will be entitled to a larger percentage of the estate.

If you believe your father was influenced or coerced to leave you out you need to hire an attorney to contest the will. You only have four months from the time you receive notice of probate of the will to file a will contest, so you have to take action right away. If the will were eventually set aside, state law would then control the distribution of your late father's assets.
