Do all wills need to be sent to Porbate?

A will must be probated if there are any assets which cannot be transferred without a probate court order. Assets which are joint are not subject to probate.

Usually, if there are any significant assets that were not passed on via other means such as a trust, a joint tenant account, or through a beneficiary designation on an account. If your in Franklin county feel free to call our office for a free consultation.
