Legal Question in Workers Comp in Ohio
Workmans comp Injury
I injured myself at work on the 19th, but think it may be a re-injury to my knees from last year where I injured my knees at another job, I have settled and closed that claim but now there is this one. They are telling me because its a old injury they wont do anything about it and since I waited a week to see a doc its too late. Is there anything I can do?

Re: Workmans comp Injury
Good Afternoon,
I would recommend that you file a new claim with the bureau. The form is called a FROI-1. Be sure to include medical which supports the injury.
I also recommend retaining an experienced workers' compensation attorney as the bureau and/or your employer will likely fight the new claim.
