Legal Question in Consumer Law in Oklahoma
Bad Used Car
Bought car 12/15, engine light came on. Took car back 12/18 -- told them didn't want car. They said it was too late (car was financed through Arvest bank - loan papers were signed on 12/15) They are fixing car and still have it since 12/18. Do we have to still take the car?

Re: Bad Used Car
Unless the contract provides for a period of time to return the vehicle, an auto purchase contract does not generally give the buyer a period to return the vehicle if dissatisfied. If you bought the vehicle used, you probably bought it "as is," and are likely out of luck. I would try to work with the seller to get him to fix the vehicle promptly that he sold you.
