Sales Contract

If you buy something and sign a sales contract do you have a period in which to cancel the contract? I am questioning a car sales.

With a car purchase, you would not have a right to cancel the contract unless the dealer provides for such a right in the contract. There is not right by law to cancel a contract for the purchase of a car, unlike a health club membership.
