Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
i was convicted of "malicious injury to property- under $2500" and ordered to pay $500 in restitution. can he sue me in civil court after my sentence is over?

If the restitution that you were ordered to pay is less than the money that he is out of pocket due to your actions, the answer is yes. Assuming you plead guilty and not no contest, he'll be able to use your guilty plea against you in civil court.
