residential lease
I had a one year lease at an apt complex. They say they placed a notice on my door at the end of the year stating ''if I did not come in, the lease would renew for one full year''. I did not receive it, and therefore did not go in. I gave them 30 days notice that I was leaving (three months before the second year was up. Can they hold me to all the charges for the remainder of the second year?

I would need to read your lease to provide you with a legal opinion.
A "negative action" renewal would be unusual and the form of notice required by the lease would govern.
