Legal Question in Military Law in Oklahoma

I was arrested and detained while on active duty in the military in 2010 for possession of synthetic marijuana, I have come to learn as of 3 days ago that the field test for said substance was negative and the case was dropped. Is there anything I can do as far as reparations for the adverse actions I recieved? Fort sill, Oklahoma.

Are you still active duty or have you been discharged?

If you are active duty - yes, there are some things that could be done.

If you are discharged, then the issue will be what kind of discharge you received and if it was related to the false drug allegation? Possibly you could use this information to seek a discharge upgrade.

Feel free to contact me if you want to pursue this further. You also might want to contact the folks at the Military Law Task Force of the National Lawyers Guild (www.nlgmltf.org) as they can be very helpful in helping you to explore your options and/or get legal counsel.
