Legal Question in Business Law in Oregon
My two other co-founders and I have recently started a business together. Our client has been working with us for a few months now and they just sent an email refusing to pay for services rendered over the last month for wrongful claims that they're accusing us of. The client is claiming the work we did was not up to the standards they needed and is not usable. However, they reviewed and approved bi-weekly demonstrations of all work that was completed and now out of the blue they're refusing to pay. We're looking for legal guidance to resolve the situation.
