Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oregon
my x and i split up and she left. i am looking to find out my legal rights to protect my home from her coming in and taking her things while im not present. i ask so that i may protect my belongingsfrom being taken or broke

If you own the house, change all the locks. Then she will have to negotiate with you in order to remove her belongings.

Dan Meek's idea is a good one -- change the locks. You don't mention if you were legally married in Oregon or not. It may make a difference as to yours and her legal rights. Especially if you were married (or are still married but split up), you should consult with a lawyer who handles divorces and other Family Law issues. It's not a "civil rights" issue, which is how you posted it. Good luck!
