Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oregon

What do you do when the officer in the case against you is in a car wreck and will not be able to testify> He is in a coma and most likely will not be able to be a cop for a few years. Wouldn't that dismiss your case for he cannot testify and is the only witness.

Depends on the type of case. Not enough information on what the charge is you are referring to have dismissed. Your question leads an unknown on whether it is a felony or a misdemeanor case and the actual charge.
