Legal Question in Immigration Law in Oregon
my fiance and i are getting married next month. he wants to file papers so i can become a resident.i came to the US when i was 1 year old.iwent to school here recently graduated from high school.my question is ? im i going to have to leave the country to get my green card?if i was basicly here all my life?

Yes, you will have to go back to your home country to apply for a visa, if you came to USA illegally (without a visa and inspection), and no one had ever petitioned for you or your parents in the past (specifically, prior to April 30, 2001).
