can I sue my ex friend for driving my truck into someones yard and getting it towed? she is licensed but she did not have insurance. my truck is registered to my mom and also on her insurance policy. I didnt have the money to get it out of tow. so i have lost the truck. .

If you did not have the money to retrieve the truck from the tow facility, you may not have the money for the court filing fee.

But, the answer to your question is that yes of course you can sue your "ex friend" and tell your story in a cool calm rational manner to the small claims court judge and hope for the best.
