I am an artist and would like to know

if I have the legal right to advertise

and sell limited edition copies of my

own created original art piece of The

Beatles without being sued by The

Beatles and/or Apple LTD?

You asked about copyright.

Copyright is a very fickle thing. If the work of authorship is entirely your own then there should be no restrictions on your selling the works.

But in your case you may be incorporating works of authorship comprised of or which include the works of other persons or protected material.

Your work should be examined by a knowledgeable copyright attorney to determine any potential issues raised.
