Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
KIDS Arts & Craft workshop- what clearance, license or insurance do I need?
Thank you.

You will need a child abuse clearance for all employees who will work with the children. Depending on how long the workshops are, you may need licensing from the State Department of Public Welfare (the agency that approves child care facilities). You will need a Philadelphia Business Privilege License. And you will need premise liability insurance. The amount of insurance you will need depends on your risk exposure. Your insurance agent/broker can help you choose the appropriate amount. This list is a starting point. I suggest you hire an attorney to draft a complete list for you.
Good luck.
