A Safe Work Place

I was At work And My boss Decided for me that it would be ok for me to clean an item contaminated with an infectious disease, but I do not have the training in how th handle such an item. Is this potentially creating an unsafe work place.

It depends. It's hard to answer this question without more information.

There are specific guidelines as to what conditions an employer may subject an employee. Moreover there is strict guidance as to what types of protective equipment must be provided.

If you are concerned you should bring this to the attention of a superior AND the occupational health and safety organization. It is illegal for an employer to retaliate against an employee for making these specific reports.
