Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Unlicensed Childcare
I would like to open a babysitting service just outside of the Pittsburgh area. I would never have any more than 5 children at a time and the maximum amount of time that they would be permitted to stay would be 4 hours. (I am more than willing to change these numbers in order to comply) I attended the State orientation for licensed childcare and was horrified at the millions of regulations. Is there anyway that I can open an unlicensed babysitting service without the State coming after me like I'm a criminal? It's JUST a babysitting service that I have researched and know from experience is needed. House or Storefront?

No. Strict compliance with the regulations is required.
