Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
under 21
I'm 20 years old and i got a citation in the mail, stating i was drinking being under the age of 21, the officer did not take me in to the police station, make me sign anything, or take a breathalyzer. I was not around any alcohol at the present time, I was not stumbling or slurring my words. I would like to know is he in his right to give me a citation for underage drinking and is this going to stand up in court?

Re: under 21
If everything you're saying is true, there is no way that it should stand up in court. You should get an attorney, however, who is familiar with how to defend an underage drinking charge. Where are you located? Contact me if you wish.
