Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

arrest warrant

police came to house looking for my husband they had a warrant for arrest, he has been incarcerated for 7 months at @ county facility and just sentenced and moved to state facility. Problem-16 yr old was home alone and police entered premises without any paperwork (search warrant) looking for him. They questioned her as well. I cannot believe this is allowed. Do I have any type of recourse? My daughter is traumatized by this whole mess.

Re: arrest warrant

You MAY be able to sue the issuing authority of the warrant, but you would have to show that your daughter was damaged. In other words, you say 'traumatized,' but i would need to know a lot more about the trauma. Feel free to email [email protected].
