Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania
Award amount for a civil matter
I was recently sued in a civil matter and unfotunately I lost. I owe the plantiff $12,000. I also no longer have legal representation and this matter is currently in an appeal stage. My question is, if I decide to settle, does the plantiff have to accept any type of payment plan I come up with? I'm sure I'm not expected to come up with the full amount all at once. What rights do I have, if any, regarding the payments?

Re: Award amount for a civil matter
You don't have any rights, really. You should come up with a reasonable payment plan for this judgment, or else they can execute against you.
