Non believers in god being sworn in in court
If one does not believe in god, how do we testify in court without being sworn in? Will we be held in contempt?

Re: Non believers in god being sworn in in court
Most courts permit a witness to "swear or affirm" that his/her testimony will be truthful. Affirmance does not invoke a deity or a religious dogma, and one who does not wish to use the religious terminology may affirm.
