Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

Suing the police for charging me when I called 911

I called 911 and turned in my wife's drugs. The police charged me with possession as well. My wife admitted to everything at the preliminary trial, but the police didn't drop the charges against me. I have to take a polygraph and then the charges are dropped. The problem is, I'm a teacher in PA and now I am suspended without pay(because of a drug possession charge). I've taken a blood, urine and hair test and all are clean. I had the blood and urine test results at the preliminary. Can I sue the police for my lost wages and how do I get that started and how much time do I have? My wife has a documented history of drug use and I have never used drugs and I never had any charges ever.
