Re: restaurant
Anybody can sue for anything. The question is, can you win?? Do you think they did this because of your race? Ethnicity? Religion? Why do you think it happened????
If none of these reasons apply, you have no case. You can't sue a restaurant because you had to wait and had bad service.
Re: restaurant
Are you serious? What do you possibly think you could sue for? Your hunger? What are your damages? Were you hurt because you had to wait? Do you really want to go in front of a jury and ask for money because you had to wait for your food in a restaurant? What do you think they will give you? A million bucks?
Look, nobody likes bad service. I hate it. Nobody is tougher on waitresses than me. I think you must not get to a lot of restaurants if you think there is a lawsuit here, because that's life when dining out.
Re: restaurant
People say attorneys are the problem - WRONG, it's people like you. If you are not happy with the service, LEAVE! Unless you are assaulted, fed poisonous food, your coat is stolen from the coat room, etc. WHY would you sue? Suing is not fun, it is for serious breaches of expected conduct. I'm tired of people who are 'professionsl' victims. People need to be responsible for their own decisions. Get up off your ass. take your grandson, complain to the restaurant if you want, and LEAVE if you don't like the service.
Re: restaurant
Anybody can sue anybody for anything. The question is whether or not you can win. In your case, unless there was something behind the poor service such as racial discrimination, I don't think so. If the poor service was because of your race, that could be a different story, especially if there are other people of your race who have experienced the same type of service.
