new credit cards that we can't pay now
We just took out 4 new credit cards totaling close to $22000 and did a ton of home improvements. We can't refi our home due to a rental property issue that has shown up on our credit. If we are unable to make these payments, can the creditor do anything to us?

The creditors can sue and subject your home for sale, if they want to incur the expense. Suggest you consult an attorney to clear up the problem on your credit report and refinance.
