Can a collection company garnish wages for collection of a credit card debt?

Under Pennsylvania law garnishment of wages for credit card debt is not allowed. However, levy on personal property, liens against real estate and attachments of bank accounts is permitted. I suggest you consult with legal counsel. Gerald Hershenson 215-579-9390

The answer is no, BUT they can get a judgment and levy on personal property.
