The deck is stacked against you. First, off most people who get the license suspended without knowing about it follow this scenario.

1) They move.

2) They don't tell DMV.

3) They get a ticket and don't show for trial or if they do they are found guilty.

4) DJ sends judgment to the address DMV has. Even with having you mail forwarded by the PO the notice isn't.

5) The fine goes unpaid DMV suspends your license.

6) The cops catch you on another violation and discover your license has been suspended and they charge you with that.

Bad news there aren't too many ways to beat that.
