Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Could I be sent to jail on the first day of my trial? I'm in Pennsylvania and have a trial coming up and need to know if they (usually) lock you up on the first day of trial. Will the make an offer or postpone the trial at all? Or will everything happen on the day the trial begins. I am out on bail and have a trial coming up.

Unless you are found guilty and sentenced the first day of trial no you bail continues till then generally. Now that might change hard to say without know what you're charged with and what sort of criminal record you have.
