Re: Pre-Trial Conference

My answer is only correct if the case is in philadelphia. if the case is elsewhere, this answer is wrong.

In philadelphia, your pre-trial conference is in room 1103. Your attorney will be given all of the discovery in the matter and will have the opportunity, probably for the the first time, to speak with a supervisor from the da's office about your case. if you want to plea guilty, you will most likely get the best offer at the pre-trial conference. in addition, if you want to fight the case, the case can be sent out for trial, and you will learn the identity of your trial judge.

Re: Pre-Trial Conference

You should ask your lawyer for specific advice about the case. If you don't have a lawyer retained yet, get moving because this is serious if you are in a pre-trial room. I have been handling all types of criminal matters for more than 15 years, and I know from experience that the quicker a case gets to a good attorner the better. Write back if you want to discuss the details.
