Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Stealing money and suing
A friend of mine recently got caught stealing $1600.00 from his former employer and was let go with a misdemeanor since it was his first time. Since, he has not told anyone about it, and word has spread rapidly throughout the store that he stole money. Is this a violation of employee confidentiality and can he sue the company for that?
