Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Drinking Fine

I was changed with a ''purchase/

transporting/consuming/possession

of alcohol. I am currently a minor,

but by the looks of the fine I was not

charged with an underage offense,

since no field sobriety test was given

what so ever. The case on the fine

states that it is a ''citation/

summons'' when I called the court

house they said I do not need to

appear in court, I just need to mail

the amount in for the fine. My

question is that I already have a DUI

on my record and I was wondering if

this will affect it? I live in PA, and

have compleated an ARD coarse.

Re: Drinking Fine

if you pay the fine and plead guilty, you will have something on your record like speeding, etc. i am assuming this is a summary. if you did not do this or even if you did do it, you can fight the ticket because you are always innocent until proven guilty in the united states. email me back with more questions if i didn't get it right.

Re: Drinking Fine

If you just send in the fine, you're pleading guilty.

The charge you list IS underage drinking, it's just titled differently.

To plead guilty would likely be a violation of your ARD if it is not completed. If it is completed, it wouldn't have any effect on it.
