Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania
old dui
a friend of mine was pulled ove rfor dui 4 yrs ago, the police told him were too busy to process him and to come back in 24 hrs....he neve went. can he be charged with that if he was never ''officially'' processed? is the statute of limitations up for that?

The police are pretty scrupulous about following up on DUIs. If he was never issued a summons and no Criminal Complaint was filed, he's probably okay. Most likely there was a summons, though, and a Criminal Complaint was filed and he will learn about it if he is ever pulled over again.
