Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

DUI in NJ with a PA lisence.

I am awaiting conviction in NJ for a

DUI, my public defender said since I

had a PA state license that I could go

back to PA and enter the ARD

program as to prevent a loss of

lisence other then in NJ. Is this

possible? Is there any way to keep

my license in PA?
