Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Child advocacy against abusive parent

My daughter no longer wishes to se her abusive father. He emotionally berates her until she can no longer eat and gets depressed for days before she must go to his house for the weekend. We cannot afford to go through another drawn out custody battle but she has been in counciling for almost a year now and things are only getting worse for her.

He has threatened her quite a few times now if she does not go with him and I am stuck with a court order of joint custody. Is there any group that can take on her case pro bono or make some kind of arrangement with me so I can stop him from seeing her. She was to spend the entire month of June with him so we are running out of time ...thank you

I take a number of cases on a reduced fee basis. You will need to file an emergency motion for custody modification. The Court will look at your daughter's wishes, the father's actions and a number of other factors. I do offer free initial consultations.
