Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

At a complete loss of action!

For 5 yrs i have been in a custody fight with my mother for my oldest son in N.J. the case was eventually thrown out and since i live in P.A. my mother decided to refile here in Phila. since filing here she has been given partial custody-visitation rights to my oldest son on the fact that he went to school from her house in N.J. Never did i give her custody or sign anything giving her any parental rights. Now that my other two children have become old enough to care for themsevels she has wen't after them as well and has the same rights to them.they never lived with her. There is no drug use, abuse or negilct . I am not promuscious. I am engaged for 4 yrs to a man that is not the childrens father and has done nothing but care and love these children as his own. I have been to jail for contempt of court for refusing to send the children to their visitation. I was sentenced to 6 mos at PICC without any mention of bail and because i have no record i was kept in the intake unit for 28 days,22 hrs a day. Only two hours a day to call my family and shower. As soon as my fiance'sent my children to my mothers for their visitation a week later after i was locked away it took 2 weeks to be released.how do i get my children and my life back?

Cusotdy detreminations are a mixed lot. Many judges will just give the custody to the mother. Others look at any problem as a major problem and take away children. If negotiating an agreement is possible that is your best bet, otherwise a petition to modify custody is necessary. I offer free consultations.
