Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Is it deformation?

Is it deformation if someone states something terrible about you, and it can be proven wrong? The person I speak of has said terrible things about my child and myself in a court room, so it is on record that she said it, and as I said, it can quite easily be proven wrong. This person consistantly hurts people, and I need to know if something could be done about this. Should I seek counsel with an Attorney in my area?

Generally, witnesses enjoy civil immunity for statements made in court. If what the witness said was demonstrably false the witness may have committed perjury. You can contact the District Attorney for the county where the testimony was given to enquire about an investigation or a private criminal complaint.
