filed for divorce now purchasing home

I filed for an uncontested divorced & submitted the final paperwork earier this month. I am now just waiting the 90 days for a divorce decree. Is it ok to purchase a home? I want to make sure my soon to be ex will not have any rights to this purchase. thanks !!

Property aquired after a marital separation is usually not a part of the marital estate. However, if you use funds from a bank account that was part of the marital estate you can create problems.
