Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Leaving my husband

I have been married for 10 yrs. I feel that I am in a very bad marriage..one that involves a very controlling spouse. Because I feel this is affecting me and my child both mentally, I would like to leave and seperate from him. I am afraid to tell him that I wish to leave. My question is this...Do I have the right legally to take my child and any possessions in the house and move out? I would tell him where his child will be living..I wont hide that but I would like to leave without him knowing so as to avoid trouble.
