Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Power of Attorney...

My brother is age 25 and is going through court proceedings/child support hearings at the moment. He does not fully understand legal matters at all. Our mother has been paying his bills for him, but as far as somebody to be there throughout proceedings with him to help him understand, we have no control. Legally, nobody can speak with us regarding his cases. I'm wondering if a power of attorney would give me the opportunity to be there with him.

Re: Power of Attorney...

Being made his agent could give you the power to undertake law suits on his behalf.

The question is how much doesn't he understand? Is he incompetent to assist with his lawyer? Then a guardianship maybe what you want.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
