Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Rejected father

My ex and I agreed upon our divorce, had papers drawn up,and sworn by a judge. The crux of my problem is in that agreement I stated that I would get my kids(14,12,11) at least one day a week and at least one weekend a month.Iwas getting my children every weekend, then due to ex's wishes every other weekend. Now none of my children want to visit and she refuses to make them.I haven't seen my children in 8 months and I'm now suffering from depression. How can I get visitation with my kids? Also, I continue to pay support(not behind), am I legally able to claim any on my tax return?I do not have any custody.Thank you.

Re: Rejected father

Time to take her to court. From what you stated the custody arrangement is part of a court order. So you can file a petition for contempt.

The bad news is that the children are old enough to have a say in the custody arrangement. Though they are not old enough that the judge will do what they ask.

As to claiming of dependents that should have been part of the order. If it wasn't you either have to work it out with your ex or go to court over that.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
