spousal support

Must I be divorced to received spousal support. We have been seperated since, Dec. 4, 2008. I receive SSD only.

No. Spousal support, if you are entitled to it, lasts until you are divorce. After divorce, it would be called alimony, if applicable.

No. You are eligible to receive spousal support as long as your conduct did not cause the breakup of the marriage.
