If you are sharing the bedroom with him he is correct that he does not need your permission to take images of you. Even if he does so surreptitiously. Nor would you need his permission if you were to take a hammer and destroy any video device, camera or computer on your property, or were to drop them all into a full bathtub. They are as much you property as they are his.

If you were not sharing the bedroom with your husband AND there was a lock on the door, whether used or not, then the analysis would be different.

Finally, if there were sound recording possible on the equipment or if in fact sound was recorded then the story changes. That would fall under the eavesdropping/wiretapping statutes and you may have both a tort and criminal claim against him.

I recommend that you get either both parties or at least yourself to a counselor immediately.
