Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

According to Pennsylvania law it seems they have a second docket that the put orders into and they don't get filed into the relevant docket unless you file some kind of praecipe to enter it. In order to appeal a decision you need the order filed in the relevant docket. I filed what I called a praecipe for enter of adverse order and when I filed it the protonatary said he never heard of it before but he'd file it. This was filed over a week ago and the order hasn't been filed into the docket yet. Did I file the right thing? What should I do to get the order filed so I can Appeal in time?

You probably have to file a Praecipe to enter judgement , either based upon the award of arbitrators dated__________________ or the Order of the Honorable Judge ____________ on

(date). The other question is did you file post-trial motions after the courts' adverse decision. Generally you have 10 days to file Post Trial Motions, after the Verdict or court order, before you can file an appeal. If you have not, file a praecipe to enter judgement as stated above, and that gets it on the docket.
